my b-day

I decided to go back and write this entry about my b-day so that I can remember what actually ended up happening on my b-day. loren woke me up when he got home from work, to say ho and happy b-day. I wansn't to awake or really into the whole b-day thing.. I figured it was gonna be one of the worst that I had experenced. loren had to go to sleep and then go to work that night again so we were going to only have like 2-3 hours together at the most which was kinda depressing.

I woke up at like 8 or 9 I guessand I walked into my bathroom and noticed a sticky on the door that said happy b-day.. I thought that was a nice touch. I opened the door, and on the mirror there was happy b-day written in dry erase marker with little ballons n stuff, there was another sticky on the lid of the toilet and when I opened the lid is when I finally cracked a goofy smile...

there was a post-it on the bottom side of the toilet lid.. and I thought.. only the monster would do that.. well it didn't stop there.. the thermostat, my monitor, my mouse, keyboard chair... a GIANT yellow background red writing scrolling marquee on his computer that said happy b-day.. I think in all I found like 30 post-its. in very creative places.

once he woke up we cuddeled a little, had a little fight about what I wanted to do for my b-day cause I hate deciding what I want to do on my b-day, I think it should be somthing planned for me.. but anyway.. with that out of the way, we went to cheese cake factory and met jim there. I had my b-day lunch/brunch thing.

I didn't get anything for my b-day.. but thats ok.. at least it wasn't depressing like I thought it would be.
